About the author

Bertrand Cabedoche (Author) A graduate from the École supérieure de journalisme de Lille (1978) and having worked as a journalist in France and later in Canada, Bertrand Cabedoche holds a doctorate (doctorat d'État) in political science (1987) and has been an academic since 1990. He is the holder of the UNESCO Chair in International Communication at the Gresec laboratory, where he manages international relations. Appointed President (2012-2017) of the International Global Network of UNESCO Chairs in Communication (UQAM, Montreal), he obtained the network's recognition as a UNESCO think tank.
