The book deals with "Solid Waste Management in the Municipality of Montepuez: an Evaluation of Current Management", which falls within the line of research entitled waste management. The research was carried out to complete the Master's programme and has the following objective: To assess the effectiveness of the current forms of solid waste management in the municipality of Montepuez, given that it affects the effectiveness of the coverage of solid waste collection services. Given this situation, the following question arises: To what extent can solid waste management guarantee sustainability? With the studies carried out, new sustainable forms of solid waste management can be adopted, guaranteeing the maximisation of reuse and recycling, thereby reducing environmental impacts and guaranteeing effective initial and final disposal.
