Summary
Make a magical paper garden with these 35 origami projects from bestselling author Mari Ono for plants, butterflies, birds and more, with 60 pieces of origami paper included.
Bring the outdoors in and create a whole host of nature-themed paper decorations. There are four great chapters explaining how to really bring your paper to life. In Chapter 1, In the Wild, discover how to make beautiful butterflies, a jumping frog and a sweet hedgehog. Chapter 2, Garden Party, features designs to help you set the scene for an outdoor celebration, including a little flower basket, a garden chair and a picnic table. In Chapter 3, Cute Creatures, try your hand at making animals and birds such as a robin, a white rabbit and an adorable cat and dog. Finally, Chapter 4, Beautiful Blooms, shows you how to fold stunning flowers, from a simple rose and a hydrangea to an iris and an evening primrose. Every project comes with simple step-by-step instructions and clear photographs, as well as helpful arrows showing you where to fold. Each design has been given a skill rating, so you can begin with an easy one and, once you’ve mastered that, move on to a more challenging project. 60 specially designed pieces of origami paper are included with the book, meaning you can start folding right away.
