Bladder cancer is referred to as a form of cancer which develops in the bladder cells. The bladder is a hollow muscular organ in the human body that retains urine in the lower belly. The most common method of diagnosis is cystoscopy with tissue biopsies. Treatment for bladder cancer includes intravesical therapy, surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy. It can be prevented by quitting smoking and taking a diet which is rich in vegetables and proteins.
