Given the new migratory flows in the 21st century, we analyse the factors that motivate gifted and talented people to migrate to other countries. Firstly, a conceptual and theoretical review of the subject is carried out, followed by a consideration of the mobility of people with indicators of giftedness and talent - giftedness-drain - and its socio-economic impact. Among the factors that motivate mobility, the educational paradigm and the cognitive development and emotional adjustment of gifted and talented people are considered. The book proposes mindfulness meditation as a suitable technique for gifted and talented people to improve and cope with anxiety and stress, especially in an environment where their abilities are not realised and their special needs are not met. Finally, a review is made of the legal bases of gifted and talented care and a case study is shown on the French-Brazilian border and the case of double invisibility in the identification of gifted and talented people: the black woman with gifted indicators.
