The Lesson Exemplars in Science 4 for Inquiry-Based Learning is the output of research that was designed based on the Kto12 Basic Education Curriculum Learning competencies to provide learners opportunities that will make science learning more meaningful and interesting. It includes the competencies in Science 4, for which have the extent of the need for using lesson exemplars is very much needed based on the findings of the conducted research. Each lesson included in the guide has the following parts:Objectives. This part indicates the ultimate objectives of the lessons integrated into inquiry-based learning.Engage. This section stimulates the interest and curiosity of the learners and focuses on the task, object, situation, and problem or event at hand.Explore. This section of the material leads to searching more, investigating, or moving forward into the lesson.Explain. This section makes something clear or simple to understand by describing it or giving information about it.Elaborate. This section describes something that is very complex in order to explain further.Evaluation. This is an important part of the guide, which provides the teacher with assessment items.

I am an educator for twenty years. I have earned three degrees namely, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master of Science in Biology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education.
