Hop on board for an epic journey through Uzbekistan. Experience the views, taste the food, meet the fellow travellers. Underlined with music from Central Asia (don't forget to scan the QR codes!), and accompanied by visuals from throughout Uzbekistan, the stories will come to life and inspire you, make you wonder, laugh and cry; give you an idea of what everyday life is like in Central Asia, and what matters for its inhabitants. In its own playful way, this collection of short stories also conveys some key historical, social and cultural background about Central Asia, a region about which, at least in the humble opinion of the author, everyone ought to know more.

About the author

As a kid, Seraina wanted to be either an author, bus driver, circus artist or archaeologist, but ultimately became none of the above, which she blames on the challenges of adulting. She always likes mentioning that she's worked in eight countries by the not-so-tender age of 30, but has particularly enjoyed her experiences in Central Asia. Seraina further claims to play three instruments, though she hasn't touched her cello in over a year (also to blame on the challenges of adulting). Apart from travel and music, she also enjoys learning new languages, which usually results in forgetting others. Case in point: though German is her native language, she writes better in English.
