María Patricia Fernández Cuevas, de nationalité mexicaine, est titulaire d'un master en sciences de l'éducation, en droit civil et en droit de la procédure civile, ainsi que d'un doctorat en sciences sociales de l'UAEH et en droit de l'université de Durango. Elle est professeur de recherche à l'UAEH dans le cadre de la licence en droit, avec un profil Prodep souhaitable.
