About the author

Brooke Hartman is an adjunct instructor of writing for Alaska Pacific University and serves on the board for the Alaska Writers Guild. She is a member of SCBWI and a previous SCBWI Tribute Fund scholarship recipient. Her debut picture book Dream Flights on Arctic Nights (2019, Graphic Arts Books) received a starred review from Kirkus. She currently resides in Chugiak, Alaska.

Evon Zerbetz is an Alaskan artist and illustrator of an armful of books including Alaska is for the Birds, Ten Rowdy Ravens, Dream Flights on Arctic Nights, and Blueberry Shoe.
