The present study demonstrated a significant decrease in gingival inflammation, gain in clinical attachment level, and increase in periodontal pocket depth from pre-operative to 3 months follow up due to its wound-healing ability. So, this can be used as an alternative that is just as effective as chlorhexidine gel.
