Burnout is clearly associated with labour problems, such as poor resources, insecurity in the occupational context and other disorders arising from psychosocial risks related to the world of work. The profession of educators in foster care institutions is a target of wear and tear on their part, due to the great difficulty in dealing with children and young people, with a delicate past, full of problems, aggressive behaviour and lack of family support, making it an arduous daily task. Following this line of reasoning, the present study aims to analyse burnout and the perception of the quality of services provided by workers in educational teams in childcare institutions.
