Through interviews with professionals in the fields of psychoanalysis and psychiatry, this study aimed to investigate the various manifestations of dissociation, in order to obtain data to better understand the multiplicity of the phenomenon, the ways in which it occurs and how it is treated in clinical and social contexts, subsequently seeking to articulate the data collected and analysed with the researched literature to obtain conclusions that can contribute to the theme in a relevant way.

Lucas de Freitas Silva holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Ribeirão Preto - UNAERP (2017). He attended the university extension "Online Psychological Care: Fundamentals and Possibilities: Psychology and the Internet: Computer-Mediated Psychological Services" at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, PUC-SP (2018).
