Hospitality is one of the tourism sectors that most negatively impacts the environment. Despite being one of the most important tourism sectors for the economy, generating jobs, income, contributing to local development, among others, the problems caused by this activity cannot be omitted. This book is the result of a case study carried out in the hotels of the Atlântica and Accor organisations located in the city of Manaus - Amazonas, addressing the subject in question. This work provides support for entrepreneurs and managers in the tourism sector, it is also aimed at researchers and academics of the tourism course who can use as references and expand the theme. In addition to sensitising tourists and the general public about these negative impacts and what can be done to avoid them and allow tourists to continue enjoying their holidays without pollution.

Über die Autorin: Jacqueline Iwata hat einen Abschluss in Tourismus von der Staatlichen Universität von Amazonas-UEA. Postgraduate in MBA Management und Unternehmensstrategie vom Universitätszentrum des Nordens-UNINORTE. Seit neunzehn Jahren veröffentlicht sie Artikel und sammelt Erfahrungen im Ausland. Sie arbeitet auch als Japanischlehrerin.
