About the author










Raj K. Keservani, MPharm, is Associate Professor in the Faculty of B. Pharmacy at the CSM Group of Institutions, Allahabad, India. He has more than 12 years of academic (teaching) experience from various institutes of India in pharmaceutical education. He has published peerreviewed papers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences in national and international journals, book chapters, co-authored books, and edited books. He is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. His research interests include nutraceutical and functional foods, novel drug delivery systems (NDDS), transdermal drug delivery/drug delivery, health science, cancer biology, and neurobiology. He is co-editor of the book series AAP Advances in Nutraceuticals.
Eknath D. Ahire, MSPharm, is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at MET's Institute of Pharmacy, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Adgaon, Nashik, Maharashtra, India. He is also affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India. He has over five years of experience, including four years of academic experience as an Assistant Professor and one year in the industrial world as Formulation Scientist II with Torrent Research Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujrat, India. He is a reviewer for several reputed international journals. He was awarded an AICTEsponsored P.G. Research Scholarship by the Government of India. He has more than 25 publications (research, review, and book chapters) to his credit, published in national and international reputed indexed journals as well as five textbooks. He has worked on nanotechnologybased drug delivery systems, nutraceuticals, and novel drug delivery systems.
