Czeslaw Porębski, Ph.D (1975), Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland, is Professor Em. of Philosophy. Author of monographs, translations, and many articles on ethics, political and social philosophy, including Social Contract: Renaissance of an Idea (1999, in Polish) and Lohnt es sich, moralisch zu sein? (2000).
