About the author










Brigitte Weltman-Aron is Professor of French at the University of Florida, the author of On Other Grounds (2001) and Algerian Imprints (2015), and co-editor with Laurence Mall of Rousseau and Emotions (2012).

Ourida Mostefai is Professor of Comparative Literature and French Studies at Brown University. She has co-edited Rousseau and l'infâme (2009) and is the author of Jean-Jacques Rousseau écrivain polémique (2016).

Peter Westmoreland is a Senior Lecturer in the Philosophy Department at the University of Florida. He has published articles on Rousseau, Early Modern and Continental philosophy, Race, Gender, and Handedness.
