Cornelia Giesing, Dr. phil. (1983), Université de Tübingen, a enseigné à l'Université de Munich (LMU) et à l'Institut National de Recherche (INEP) de la Guinée-Bissau. Sa recherche et ses publications portent sur les manifestations de la culture mandingue en Sénégambie, y inclus l'édition du
Ta: rikh Mandinka de Bijini (Guinea-Bissau), ensemble avec Valentin Vydrine (Brill, 2007).
Denis Creissels, professeur émérite de l'université de Lyon, est l'auteur de nombreuses publications consacrées à la linguistique générale, à la typologie linguistique et à la description de langues diverses, essentiellement africaines - notamment le baoulé, le mandingue et le tswana.
Cornelia Giesing, Ph.D. (1983), Tübingen University, has worked as Lecturer at Munich University and at the National Research Institute (INEP) of Guinea-Bissau. Her research and publications concern cross-cultural studies and especially Mandinka culture and interethnic relations in Senegambia, including
