Luke Timothy Johnson, PhD (1976), Yale University, is the Robert W. Woodruff Distinguished Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at Emory University. Among his many books is the 2011 winner of the Grawemeyer Award in Religion, Among the Gentiles: Greco-Roman Religion and Christianity (Yale, 2009).
