About the author










Anthony J. Boyle is Professor of Classics at the University of Southern California, USA and Editor of the classical literary journal Ramus. His most recent publication on Roman literature is (with R.D. Woodard) Ovid's Fasti (2000).
William J. Dominik is Professor of Classics at the University of Otago, New Zealand and Editor of the classical journal Scholia. His most recent publications are (with A.F. Basson) Literature, Art, History: Studies on Classical Antiquity and Tradition (2002), and Words and Ideas (2002).
