About the author

Joella Yoder, Ph.D. (1985), University of Wisconsin, is a noted expert on Christiaan Huygens. In Unrolling Time (Cambridge, 1989) she drew from unpublished manuscripts to reconstruct Huygens' creative process. That experience inspired her to undertake a complete catalogue of the manuscripts.
