About the author










Mark R. Mullins, Ph.D. (1985) in Religion and Society, McMaster University, is Professor of Japanese Studies and Director of the Japan Studies Centre at the University of Auckland. He has published widely on the sociology of Japanese religions and is the author of Christianity Made in Japan (1998) and editor of Handbook of Christianity in Japan (Brill, 2003).
