About the author










Gábor Takács, Ph.D. (1998) in Egyptology, Eötvös Loránd University of Budapest (Hungary), is Research Fellow at the Eötvös Loránd University. He has published actively in Egyptian etymology and comparative-historical Afro-Asiatic phonology. He is the author of Etymological Dictionary of Egyptian (Brill, 1999).
