H.F.J. (Manfred) Horstmanshoff is associate professor of Ancient History at the Universiteit Leiden. He published on Greek, Roman and Early Modern medicine.
M. Stol is professor of Assyriology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He published on Babylonian medicine and the social history of the Old Babylonian period.
