About the author










Ingvar Svanberg is Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Russian and Eurasian Studies, Uppsala University. He has contributed to many publications on Muslims, including the reader Islam in the West, which he co-edited with David Westerlund (Routledge, 2011).

David Westerlund is Professor in the Study of Religions at Södertörn University in Stockholm. His recent publications include Religion, Politics and Nation-Building in Post-Communist Countries, which he co-edited with Greg Simons (Ashgate, 2015).
