About the author










Menahem Mor, Ph. D. Hebrew University, Jerusalem (1984), is Professor of Jewish History at the University of Haifa. Former holder of the Klutznik Chair in Jewish Civilisation (Creighton University, 1987-1992), and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities (The University of Haifa, 2004-2010). He has published monographs and articles on Jewish History during the Second Temple Period including From Samaria to Shechhem. The Samaritan Community in Antiquity (Shazar Center, 2003, in Hebrew).
