About the author










Tarohmaru Hiroshi, MA (1993), Osaka University, is Associate Professor of Sociology at Kyoto University, Japan. He has published extensively on issues relating to the social stratification of Japan, including most recently The Sociology of Youth Non-standard Employment: Social Stratification, Gender and Globalization (Osaka University Press, 2009).
