About the author










Patrick Baker (FAAR '13), Ph.D. (2009) in History, Harvard University, is a Senior Research Associate at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. His research interests include Renaissance humanism, historiography, and the reception of the classical tradition.

Christopher S. Celenza (FAAR 94), Charles Homer Haskins Professor at Johns Hopkins University and Director of the American Academy in Rome (2010-14), has research interests that include intellectual history, the history of philosophy, and Neo-Latin literature.
