In this work, T. Scott Manor examines the sources supporting the view that the early church had opposed the Johannine corpus. In contrast to previous studies, Manor's work leads to the conclusion that no such Johannine Controversy ever existed.

T. Scott Manor, Ph.D. (2012), University of Edinburgh, is Assistant Professor of Historical Theology and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Knox Theological Seminary. He has published various articles in Vigiliae Christianae and Studia Patristica.
