About the author










Alberto Gasparini, is Professor of Urban-Rural Sociology and Sociology of International Relations at the University of Trieste. He has written a range of articles and books on the subject of borders and walls. Those published since 2010 include the following books: Cross-border Cooperation in Central European Countries (2010); Cross-border Co-operation in Northern European Countries (2010); Strategies and Euroregions for Cross-border Co-operation in Balkan and Danube European Countries (2011); Società civile e relazioni internazionali (2011); Relazioni transfrontaliere e turismo (co-ed.)
