About the author










Devorah Dimant, Ph.D. (1974), is Professor (em.) of Ancient Jewish Literature. She held the George and Florence Wise Chair of Judaism in the Ancient World at the University of Haifa. She is a member of the International Team of Editors of the Dead Sea Scrolls and published several books and many articles on the Scrolls.

Donald W. Parry, Ph.D., Professor of Hebrew Bible Studies, holds the Abraham O. Smoot Professorship at Brigham Young University. He is a member of the International Team of Editors of the Dead Sea Scrolls and author or (co)editor of a number of books on the scrolls and the Hebrew Bible.
