This book will enrich the knowledge of those interested in groups and psychoanalysis, as well as introduce those who are preparing to study bonding configurations - groups, families and institutions - through the psychoanalytic lens. As a whole, this work has a focus, which can well be synthesised in the verses quoted by the author: "my pain is to realise that although we have done everything we have done, we are still the same and live like our parents" (Belchior, 1976). WALDEMAR JOSÉ FERNANDES.
