About the author

Joël Thibeault has been an assistant professor of French education with the Faculty of Education at the University of Ottawa since 2019. Prior to that, he was a professor of education at the University of Regina for three years. The focus of his research is the teaching and learning of French in a Francophone minority contexts. He also studies the use of children's literature as a way to teach grammar, and the integrated teaching of English and French at school.
