In Volume 1 (Part I. Historical) of the monograph the process of creation and development of civil legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan is subjected to scientific analysis. Four stages of development of civil legislation corresponding to the stages of economic development of the Republic are highlighted, the content of the main, most important laws and the process of their adoption is studied.
