Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since November 2018, reggae is undeniably a music that contributes to the good of humanity as a whole. In this book, authors from various academic backgrounds examine the contribution of this music to post-colonial Africa. Through emblematic figures such as Tiken Jah Fakoly, Alpha Blondy and Lucky Dube, this music of Jamaican origin, now very "Africanised , is presented as a music that describes, defends and values the African continent.
