The purpose of this study is to understand the experience of motherhood in women who have lived the process of raising their children in Nahueltoro, a rural sector of the province of Ñuble. The aim is to know the discourses and social practices on motherhood that are present in their stories and to describe the meanings they give to the links with the social support networks that these women maintain in the exercise of motherhood.

About the author










A psychologist and psychology graduate from the Universidad del Bio Bio, she is interested in researching social phenomena in rural areas, specifically parenting and the impact this has on social relations in these areas.
