About the author

Xu Baofeng PhD in Literature, Professor at Beijing Language and Culture University, PhD supervisor. He is a national expert in philosophy and social sciences with outstanding contributions and is also one of the Beijing Excellent Young Scientist. Currently, he serves as the Dean of the Belt and Road Academy at Beijing Language and Culture University, Dean of the College of Sinology and Chinese Studies, Director of theWorld Sinology Center, and Convener of theWorld Council of Sinologists. He has been engaged in the teaching and research of overseas Sinology, Chinese culture and poetics, Confucian ethics, and philosophy for a long time, and has published five monographs, named “Confucian Literary Thought in Liji,” “Chinese Literature Studies in North America,” “China-Centered Sinology in Literary Theory,” etc. He has also edited four books: “A Guide to the Works of Contemporary Chinese Writers,” “Contextual Dictionary of Chinese Cultural Knowledge,” “Research Report on the Overseas Dissemination of Chinese Contemporary Film and Television Works,” and “Research Report on the Overseas Dissemination of Chinese Contemporary Literary Works.” He has published more than 30 academic papers and presided over 4 National Projects and 6 Provincial and Ministerial Projects.
