Understanding the issues of the history of the young independent Republic of Kazakhstan plays an important role in understanding the processes of formation of the new statehood of the country and is directly related to the activities of its press. Studying the recent history of Kazakhstan involves the implementation of a deep analysis of not only issues of its socio-economic and political life, but also the activities of Kazakh journalism. Such an analysis allows you to have a clearer idea of how historical processes took place in one or another period of the life of the people and the country, and it is also important for a deep understanding of such subtle and complex issues as national identification and ethnic identity. The goal of the project is rethinking the natural essence of Kazakh journalism and publicism, studying the role and place of journalism in Kazakhstan in the formation and development of the Kazakh nation and in highlighting issues of national self-identification and national identity, developing practical recommendations for the development of national journalism in the context of globalization and also improving the level of training of journalistic personnel.
