Understanding Biblical Mental and Emotional Health 101 is the second book in the Biblical Thinking series. It is designed to introduce readers to a biblical understanding of God's plan for experiencing mental and emotional success. Understanding Biblical Mental and Emotional Health 101 begins with a detailed look at what goes wrong in our psychological health when we do not live or think according to biblical principles. Thinking errors are examined and biblical truths are presented that bring healing to our hearts, minds, and souls. Readers will be encouraged to set biblically sound goals in key disciplines. The text is intelligent and scholarly but presented in an easy-going and conversational style. Books in the Biblical Thinking series are meant to be challenging with new information, while remaining careful not to overwhelm the reader. Darrin Crow is the founding pastor of HEART of Junction, a church in Grand Junction, Colorado. Darrin has worked with university students for his entire adult life. He has served as a missionary to students at Colorado Mesa University since 1986, and it was with about a dozen students serving as the core group that HEART of Junction was planted in 1998. For eighteen years Darrin taught Worldviews, Ethics, and a variety of Biblical Studies classes at Colorado Christian University as an adjunct professor. Darrin has earned degrees from Colorado Christian University and Regis University. He is the founder of Biblical Thinking 101 (biblicalthinking101.com), a website dedicated to helping Christians to engage with the world from a biblical perspective.
