Informationen zum Autor Dr Ayana Elizabeth Johnson is a marine biologist, policy expert, writer, and Brooklyn native with a PhD from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and a BA from Harvard in environmental science and public policy. She is founder and CEO of Ocean Collectiv, a consulting firm for conservation solutions grounded in social justice, and founder of Urban Ocean Lab, a think tank for the future of coastal cities. She has worked on federal ocean policy at the EPA, and has spoken extensively on the topic as well as writing op-eds for a variety of publications including NYT, Guardian, HuffPost etc. She blogs for Scientific America and Nat Geo and of course has published many scientific publications.
