In the summer of 2019, the author and her twin sister, Marcia, began the Vezelay Route, a five-hundred mile trek
dedicated to Mary Magdalene, which runs through south central France on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
They walked from Vezelay to Nevers, hoping to return the next year to reach Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, the gate over
the Pyrenees. In 2022, as the pandemic waned, the author returned to the Voie de Vezelay, seule, to walk it alone.
It was a leap of faith, just as the Fool in the Tarot flung herself wildly off the precipice, her knapsack across her back.
What transpires might spur you on to set out too. No more dilly-dallying. Just catch the magic and leap. Written with
humor and humility, the author details, once more, her heroine's journey and pilgrimage on the Way of St.James.
23 full color oil paintings by the author, as well as photos and a map, illustrate the book.
