Every day, new studies show the importance of physical exercise in fighting sedentariness, preventing diseases and maintaining the population's health and quality of life. The worsening of obesity increases the incidence of many diseases known as co-morbidities, seriously altering the health condition of obese and/or overweight individuals. In view of a possible solution capable of reversing and/or alleviating this alarming picture of hormonal dysfunctions, arising from the complications that obesity provides, such as metabolic syndrome and cardiovascular diseases, training methods are being studied. The intention of this study is to analyze aspects of the effectiveness for the improvement of the corporal composition and weight loss of the obese individual, using the Interval Training, training that aims to provide many benefits.

About the author










Holds a degree in Physical Education from the Centro Universitário Moura Lacerda (2009). She did a Lato Sensu Postgraduate Course in Bodybuilding and Personal Trainer at the Centro Universitário Moura Lacerda (2018). She is currently a physical education teacher at Colégio Santa Úrsula de Ribeirão Preto. She has experience in the area of Physical Education.
