William Herbert, Third Earl of Pembroke (1580-1630) was an English nobleman and politician who served as Chancellor of Oxford University. Mary Ellen Lamb is professor emeritus of English from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Garth Bond is associate professor of English at Lawrence University. Steven W. May is adjunct professor of English at Emory University.
