Immigration is a social phenomenon that has always existed. The media has always portrayed this topic but it is very important to mention that the different media agencies treated the topic in different ways. In this Research Paper, I am going to analyze how the refugees are presented in the British media. I collected videos from YouTube and written articles from the websites of The Guardian, The Conversation, The Independent, The Times and BBC. I also collected memes from websites and social media because even these are media products. Even a British film is part of my corpus because films are also media products and reflect very well the social reality. The objectives of my research are to enrich the criticism on media, to help the people understand the real meaning and message of these media products and to demonstrate that the same topic can be treated in a lot of different ways.
