About the author










Caitlynn Nemec graduated from UW-Platteville with a bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Environmental Science. She also received her master's degree in Wildlife Ecology from UW-Madison. She lives with her husband, two daughters, dog, cats, and chickens in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. In her spare time, she plays the flute, makes pottery, and is active in the community through conservation groups, church, and DAR. She loves spending time outdoors teaching her daughters about nature and the world around them.
