This book is a memoir of the Marine Corps and a roller coaster ride of emotions. Anyone that ever served in the military will grin and nod in agreement at many of the life experiences that the author writes about from his service in the Marine Corps.

About the author

George Farrell has served 20 years in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, the United States Air Force Reserve and the Michigan Air National Guard. He retired from the Air Force Reserve in 2017. He stays busy in his civilian job and is the father of two daughters, Courtney and Heidi. He has devoted his free time to acting in community theater, writing, fishing and photography.

He follows his alma maters of Eastern Michigan University, Central Michigan University and the University of Michigan in football and basketball. He is also active in the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and the Marine Corps League.

It is his desire that others be happy in what they do. Always remember that titles and a huge salary do not always equate to happiness. Enjoy time with your friends and family because our lives are finite. We all have an interesting life story to tell. Tell them your life story!
