Jaime Sabines Gutiérrez (Chiapas, 1926-Ciudad de México, 1999) fue un poeta y político mexicano, reconocido como uno de los grandes poetas mexicanos del siglo XX. Las distinciones más importantes que obtuvo fueron el Premio Nacional de Ciencias y Artes (1983), el Premio Xavier Villaurrutia (1983), la Medalla Belisario Domínguez (1004) y el Premio Mazatlán de Literatura (1996). Entre su extensa obra destaca "Me tienes en tus manos" (2022), bajo el sello Pax.
Jaime Sabines Gutiérrez was a Mexican poet and politician, recognized as one of the great Mexican poets of the 20th century. The most important distinctions he obtained were the National Prize for Sciences and Arts (1983), the Xavier Villaurrutia Prize (1983), the Belisario Domínguez Medal (1004) and the Mazatlán Prize for Literature (1996).
