Medicinal plants are presented as an alternative source for herbal and medicinal purposes, thus contributing to the treatment of various diseases. From this context, it can be stated that among the applications, prominent actions of essential oils stand out, which are characterized as volatile substances rich in chemical constituents, among the species, Origanum vulgare, Schinus terebinthifolia and Pimenta dioica stand out with a high EO content In this compass, these species contain secondary metabolites, which confer capacity for a wide spectrum of biological activities, such as ovicidal, larvicidal, adulticidal action, in addition to toxicity. It should be noted that such biological activities serve as parameters for pilot toxicological tests as a therapy for cancer cells. In this way, through the mentioned arguments, the OE's Origanum vulgare, Schinus terebinthifolia and Pimenta dioica and their respective nanoemulsions show themselves as a promising alternative to Aedes Aegypti and Artemia Salina.
