About the author

Nick Prior is Senior Lecturer and former Head of Sociology at the University of Edinburgh, UK. He is author of numerous articles exploring the impact of digital technology on music production and consumption and of the forthcoming book, Popular Music, Technology and Society: Digital Formations.
