Currently the fitness world is growing every year and with it the bodybuilding is increasingly gaining public admiration and a large number of supporters of the sport increases constantly. This book demonstrates how was executed the preparation of a young athlete of 27 years that decided to start in bodybuilding in a state championship. With a duration of 7 months and 18 days, various interventions were used to enhance the athlete's results. In the preparation of a bodybuilding athlete, it's necessary the use of several training strategies together with the appropriate nutrition for each phase. The phases are divided in two: Bulking and Cutting and each one possesses distinct characteristics. We will still approach the interventions with regard to the strength training seeking increase of the force and of the muscular hypertrophy and to the aerobic training, that besides the cardiovascular health it has as objective to assist in the reduction of the athlete's corporal fat, that were used in its preparation respected the athlete's biological individuality and observed its necessities, weak points and strong points.
