Informationen zum Autor Andrew Lister is a clinical psychologist. In the late 1990s he set up and ran the longest-established specialist NHS team for fostering and adoption in the UK. He went on to establish a similar team in the neighbouring Local Authority and then a specialist therapy service in an adoption charity, and has contributed to clinical teaching programmes in all the universities in the Southwest UK. He also devised and ran educational programmes for carers, professionals and others and continues to provide PACE training through the Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy (DDP) network. Having relinquished his managerial roles, he is currently completing his 'practicum' in DDP therapy.
